I just watched "Attack of the 50 ft. Woman" (1958) and was surprised
that it's not the movie I was looking for. The movie I remember had a
girl come down from a billboard and mess with a guy in a convertible.
It may have been a story within a group of stories. I vaguely remember
there being a little child with a ball that the guy ran over or
something. Maybe he was going out of his mind when the giant girl from
the billboard started taking revenge. It may have been Italian. I
remember seeing on TV in the late 50's or 60's. Any help identifying
this movie would be appreciated.

That's two different Federico Fellini short films you are remembering. The
girl come down from the billboard is Anita Ekberg from "The Temptation of
Dr. Antonio" segment of "Boccaccio '70". It's one of my favorite Fellinis.
The guy in the convertible (Terrence Stamp) gets his head taken off by the
girl with the ball in the "Toby Dammit (Never Bet the Devil your Head)"
segment of "Spirits of the Dead", a compilation of Edgar Alan Poe stories.

You were correct about "Toby Dammit"! I'm not so sure about "Dr.
Antonio" though. It could be it, but I remember light color clothing
and English. I'm sure that I saw it on a black and white TV. Did
somebody copy that film?

Thanks for helping sort out my film memories,
