Last week I watched Kurosawa's film /Ikiru/ for the first time -- and
I now have a new favorite Kurosawa film!

Does anyone know where I can get the lyrics (and perhaps the music?)
of the song that Takashi Shimura sang in the film? Preferably in Roman
characters with English translation?

Thank you very much!

That song was popular before World War II.

The official title is GONDORA NO UTA (The Gondola Song).
