Why do people keep bringing up this piece of crap film. I use the word

David Mills, I know it's been 20+ years since you started this thread, but I want to say that I also think Apocalypse Now sucks, like, it is a terrible movie. Entire film is pretentious self-righteous wankery.

It may be PSRWank, but it is still a great film. Mind blowing. I have nothing against the director, but I cannot stand his wife. I watched the making of AN, and she praised villagers because they tortured pigs before slaughter. She said they were a strong people. I think they were a weak ignorant people. The pigs were stuck with pointed sticks until they were frothing at the mouth.

want to say that I also think Apocalypse Now sucks, like, it is a terrible

It's good to have hobbies. There's a lot of movies I consider irksome that
others consider fabulous. I don't even trouble myself to remember which ones
they are. Everybody has their own taste, and writing "it sucks" once seems
like too much labor.

It's like still complaining about a burger you got at Denny's in 1988.

I can't seem to build up a head of steam that lasts more than a few days over
the many hundreds of lesser works among the the many thousands of films. I saw
"Welcome to L.A." last week. Jeez that was a waste of time. I don't think I'll
spend another 8 seconds thinking about it.

But I guess that's what social media is for.

I agree with the other poster, please list five reasons you didnt like the film.

3. Marlon Brando is TERRIBLE in it
4. The movie is like one big mindfuck, nothing makes sense

So you liked it, too.

10 year olds arn't qualified to judge films made 14 years before they
were born.

It was kinda cool and trippy when I was 10 but it hasn't held up at all
