In the movie "That Thing You Do!", Guy (played by Tom Everett Scott) says
the following line:

Guy: If Jimmy's a genius, then I'm Utant.

As TB Player says, who's Utant?

Spelled U Thant - he was the second secretary-general of the U.N. from
1961 to 1971, the first from Asia (Burma specifically). Was lauded for
his part in defusing the Cuban missile crisis and ending the Congo
civil war.
Thank you, Wikipedia.

I tried spelling it a bunch of ways, but not U Thant! Fantastic, thanks!!
I kinda figured he was a UN guy because TB Player says, "Who's U Thant?" and
Guy replies, "He's the sec-, never mind"... So I figured that "sec" was
short for secretary, or Secretary, but I couldn't figure out if it was UN or
Navy or what...

For what it's worth, the "U" is a Burmese honorific, like uncle or mister.

Pops up in dialogue in 13 days - though I'm pretty sure he doesn't
appear.

Basically all my knowledge of history is from movies. From the Oliver
Stone presidencies, right back to the glory days of the Ridley Scott
Empire.

U Thant. He was the head of the UN in the early 60s.
