specifically composed for a movie and music that was already existing

The "Our Town" score is sublime. I have the Boosey & Hawkes piano
arrangement of it (by the composer) featuring three excerpts: Story of
Our Town, Conversation at the Soda Foundation, The Resting-place on
the Hill.

I think Pee Wee's Big Adventure was his first film score, and it was a
terrific score that complimented the movie perfectly.
