Economic community is banginging its head into walls to " stimulate " economy which in fact is a rich get richer policy.
The unreality that virus will be held in check by business closures : truth is numbers of people will still have virus and numbers will wxplode when people in NYC metro area go back to work
Parts of the country are so far from NYC or California and are so relatvely sparcely populatted it will take several months for the problem to get to the areas and even then the problems will be far leass. here will be two Americas, heavily infected and not so bad.
The Street will be made aware in the coming months that the population in densely populated areas will be very sick and production will drop substantially. The current rise is a near term bubble that smart money will take advantage of.
Media is centered on ventilators and masks in what is basically sensationalized reporting. The real problem is Manhattan and mutations.
Businesses and industry may well soon open in Manhattan ( everybody there is going to get sick anyway ) but if there is any good thinking by governments tens of thousands of New Jersey commuters will not be allowed to enter Manhattan causing big problems for Jersey
The general public is basically clueless about what's actually happening. It expects that a few weeks without employment and outside recreation will fix the problem only to find the situation was just slowed down and the underlying infections are still there waiting to explode.
Politicans will grandstand and in reality will just be sources of yak and platitudes as the virus spreads.
" Medical experts " don't know dick : why the Spanish flu and bubonic plague just died out, why is Germany different from Italy , think they can manage anything ?
As long as the there is not severe panic buying I'm a spectator. Really looking forward to the $600 government check.
Trump's address to the nation , when it ever comes, will be as uplifting as a bag of used cat litter.
Politically everybody will take sides about if businesses and industry should remain open. which will be nothing more than choosing on which side of the fence is the grass browner.
Compared to the absurdity of Trump as president this whole business is mostly a matter of how badly it hits you and yours.
