I think the perceived backlash against Titanic was the product of a few things:
the massive budget that felt excessive or self-indulgent, the oppressive
marketing campaign, and the fact that James Cameron had previously written
Terminator and Aliens -- male audience members wanted a high-octane action flick
and got a romance. It's not a bad movie but it borders on "chick flick"
territory, which people resented.

As usual, 10 incredibly b-o-r-i-n-g movies that nobody in their right
mind wants to watch ... at least this time garbage like "Citizen Kane"
and "2001" are not on the list.

Some of the reviews and appraisals are so hilariously off-beam as to make me wonder if the author has either (a) seen the film in question or (b) understood the film in question.

He also needs to work on his spelling, grammar and syntax.

If he's going to talk about Pride & Prejudice he could have at least
given the year of release of the one he's referring to since it's had
(at least) three big screen versions.

Same thing with Little Women which has a whopping seven film adaptations.

Do they not have access to a dictionary?

Perhaps English is not their native tongue?

The first "Classic" they mention was released in 2019, for Christ's sake.
